Interventional
The dietary supplements used in this study were hard capsules containing Lc. cremoris FC (1 X 107 cfu; 2 X 107 cfu) and a placebo. Each daily dose comprised two capsules, with hot/cold water per a day within 30 minutes after dinner during intake.

Inclusion Criteria:

- Women aged 19-49 years with constipation symptoms - Can consume probiotic in capsule form - No history of an adverse reaction to any of the components of the active or placebo versions of the probiotic product - Can eat regularly - Understand and sign written informed consent

Exclusion Criteria:

- Consumption of alcohol - Consumption of antibiotic/laxatives - Consumption of fermented dairy foods or any other fermented product, probiotic/prebiotic food for 2 weeks prior to the study - pregnant - history of GI surgery
